AVA is a mining intelligence platform. We help mines, quarries, and contractors see what is happening in their operations and act on it, typically cutting production costs by more than 20%. We were founded with a heart for the production miner. Enterprise mining software costs millions and takes years to deploy, which means most of the world’s mines have been left behind, running on radios, spreadsheets, and gut feel. AVA exists to change that. Across 26 countries and more than 135 sites, we have tracked over 43 million haul cycles and helped operations of every size understand and reduce their cost per tonne.

We are headquartered in Ireland with our commercial hub in Sandton.

‍The role

At AVA, our Technical Account Managers don't just monitor dashboards, they translate ignition hours, fuel spend, speeding events, load and haul cycles, fatigue indicators, and even incoming lightning strikes into clear, actionable insight. You'll be the partner mine sites rely on to make smarter, safer, more productive decisions every day.

‍What you'll own

Client partnership

• Be the trusted technical lead and main point of contact for your accounts
• Run weekly, monthly, and SLA meetings that turn numbers into direction
• Train mine management teams on complex reporting and surface pain points before they become problem

 Insight & analytics

• Build Power BI dashboards, custom SQL datasets, and KPI tracking reports
• Lead root cause analysis on data inconsistencies and operational trends
• Deliver baseline, trend, and bespoke analytics decks that drive real decisions

 Platform & support

• ‍‍Lead troubleshooting across hardware and software connection points
• Test and validate new features, support API integrations, and keep ticket queues lean
• Contribute to the AVA knowledge base and mentor the next generation of TAM's

Projects & growth

• Coordinate AVA implementations across the full customer journey
• Spot upsell opportunities and shape business cases for new features
• Partner with Commercial Account Managers to keep value flowing both ways

Non-negotiable

• Minimum 3 years' project management experience. No exceptions.

What we are looking for

Essential

• 5-7 years’ experience in a similar position
• BCom Operations Management/Industrial Engineering/Project Management or similar
• Advanced analytics & reporting. Ability to identify process inefficiencies & propose improvements.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with database queries for telemetry data.
• Happy to learn, adapt, and grow with the business
