Technical Account Manager - Northern Cape

• ‍Location: Northern Cape, Kathu Office (with regular travel to client sites across Kathu, Hotazel and Kuruman)‍

Are you passionate about data, technology, and empowering clients? In this role, you’ll ensure our mining clients receive accurate, real-time data and are fully equipped to leverage the AVA platform to its fullest potential. We’re looking for a strategic problem-solver with a passion for client success, data insights, and operational excellence. As a key player in product delivery and client support, you’ll help drive value for our clients and ensure seamless implementation of our solutions.

Our team is small, therefore you will be fulfilling a core role, meaning that your work will often have a significant impact on our product. The successful candidate should be self-driven and have exceptional communication skills. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders, thus, it is important that you are a team player.

Your Role

• Ensure >95% cycle and loader accuracy across multiple mine sites.
• Perform daily and weekly device checks to guarantee all assets are live and updating.
• Validate and interpret data from the AVA platform, ensuring system and data integrity.
• Conduct cycle replays and analyse cycle traces to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide daily reports on ongoing issues and communicate hardware status to clients.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support desk tickets.
• Deliver remote and on-site training to clients, empowering them to use AVA effectively.
• Collaborate closely with Client Success Agents and communicate findings clearly.
• Travel regularly to client sites (own vehicle required).

What we're looking for

• B.Eng. Honours Industrial Engineering or Mining Engineering (completed).
• 3-5 Years post-qualifiying experience within the mining industry (Advantageous).
• Strong computer literacy and advanced Excel skills.
• Microsoft Power BI experience essential.
• Detail-oriented, excellent communicator, quick learner, critical thinker, and passionate about the storytelling of data.
• Medically fit to enter mine sites.
• Teachable, and able to work both in-office and on-site as needed.
• Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel to various mine sites.
