Business Improvement Specialist (Contract)

‍Your Role

• Manage and oversee AVA across the client 6 sites— with rollout to 21 sites planned!
• Serve as the primary technical contact for our client
• Lead and run the AVA platform implementation and oversee its full lifecycle
• Drive AVA adoption to improve operational KPIs and make client operations better.
• Track device health, order new devices, and monitor hardware installations.
• Build reports and analytics using Power BI and SQL-based tools.
• Lead training, troubleshooting, and ensure SLA compliance across sites.
• Scope and manage client projects, coordinating cross-functional delivery and timelines.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve platform performance.
• Collaborate with operations, site, analytics, and platform teams to deliver value.
• Maintain documentation, escalate blockers, and ensure seamless client support
• Manage different stakeholders across different sites and delegate effectively to ensure operational output.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–6 years’ experience in a similar role.
• BCom Industrial Engineering or mining engineering.
• Experience building dashboards and custom reports in Power BI; support SQL-based analytics. (Non-negotiable)
• Familiarity with database queries and API integrations
• Strategic mindset with a solutions-oriented approach to business improvement
• Be hands-on and adaptable, with the ability to travel to sites both locally and internationally.
• Strong project management preferable
• Must be willing to travel, often at short notice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, own car, and valid passport.
• Must be open to innovation and change.
